About the Architectural Culture Collection
This colloction is inspired by the interplay of hard and soft lines found in buildings. David translated architectural elements into hair creations on the model.
David Barron, a distinguished hairstylist hailing from the East End of London, England, honed his skills at the renowned Vidal Sassoon Academy in London before embarking on a successful career in the beauty industry. With over 35 years of experience, David’s journey has taken him from prestigious London salons to movie sets, where he had the privilege of styling the hair of notable celebrities such as Glenn Close, Mel Gibson, and Elton John.
His work on the movie Fried Green Tomatoes brought him to Atlanta, where he started to work for Fugi hair salon over the next 4 years. In 1996, he eventually established his renowned hair salon, Barron’s London Salon in the city, known for precision cuts, corrective color, and highlights.
He began to educate for Rusk where he shared his skills and craft that he developed and perfected at the Academy, the same skills that he still teaches to this day. David’s exceptional talent and dedication to his craft have garnered him numerous accolades and awards throughout his career. Notable achievements include being named Best of the Best International Irish Hair Dresser in 2015, being recognized as a finalist 11 times at the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA), also becoming a finalist 4 times for the Contessa Canadian Awards.
