About Intercoiffure
Intercoiffure is the first international, invitation-only organization of high quality hairdressing comprised of over 3,000 salons spread across 55 countries. Member salons maintain the highest standards of quality, expert salon service, and have an educational focus. The leaders of these salons are fashion orientated, keen in expanding their profession, and ready to share their knowledge.
What does it mean to be an Intercoiffure salon member?
In order for a salon to be considered for Intercoiffure membership, they must meet strict criteria in place for:
- Salon Appearance and Aesthetic Appeal
- Stylists' Skill Level
- Business Excellence
- Internal Education Program Quality
- Local / National Recognition
In order to be considered for membership, you must be sponsored by two current Intercoiffure members. There is also an extensive interview process with the Intercoiffure New Members Committee.
Being part of Intercoiffure gives Barron's London Salon access to salon and beauty industry leaders so that we can share ideas, build initiatives and learn along with the best cosmetologists in the world.
Annual Events
Annual EventsOne of our favorite perks of Intercoiffure membership are the Spring Symposium and Fall Atelier events which celebrate Intercoiffure's mission to motivate, educate, and inspire beauty professionals. The Spring Atelier is focused on education and business development. The Fall Atelier is a celebration of new trends, fashion and style.
2019 Fall Atelier
At the 2019 Fall Atelier, Barron's London Salon was awarded the 1st Place Creative Every Day Award in the 2019 Keune Excellence in Hair Awards Photo Contest, which was a contest to showcase all of Intercoiffure America/Canada (ICA) A-Members’ (and their staff), Class A Partners’ (and their staff) work.
