Fall is all about change.

Fall is a great time of year to play with hair color....this year more than ever!

The weather gets cooler, the days get shorter and hair and fashion follow the same direction. This time of year many clients ask for their hair to have a little depth, dimension and drama to match the change in season.

Trends tend to follow the leaves you see in nature...gold, copper, red, brown.

Brunette Hair

Brunettes can go darker brown for a little bit of drama. Often, adding caramel or red/auburn color, either all over or via balayage, is a great way for those in the brunette hair color family to achieve an extra wow factor in Autumn.

Lowlights for Blonde Hair

Lowlights are basically highlights in reverse.

Lowlights are usually a darker color added to enhance the existing color of your hair. In some cases the distinction between colors can be very noticeable, and for others it is a subtle difference that just adds a touch of drama and Fall color. Lowlights can be added to any hair color, brunette hair, blonde hair or red hair.

A variation of the hair color you currently have will add beautiful variety for the fall. To mix things up even more, tones from other color families can makes for a fun look for the change of season. Blonde hair can go subtle with darker blondes or more dramatic with light browns.
